Summary of Discontinuation of FedGlobal ACH Payments and the Foreign and Canadian Check Services

The Federal Reserve Financial Services has made the decision to discontinue FedGlobal automated clearing house (ACH) payments to Mexico and Panama, and phase out their Foreign and Canadian Check Service by the end of 2026. This decision was driven by declining transaction volumes that reflect a diminished need for these services in the market.
