Data Governance Policy

Updated 07/24/2023

This Policy covers institutional data as a strategic asset of the bank and the appropriate governance for management and use of data that is critical to the Bank’s operations. Data governance is a control that ensures that the data entry by an operations team member or by automated processes meets precise standards, such as a business rule, a data definition and data integrity constraints. The following are the key takeaways of the changes:

  1. Updated to reflect requirements under final rule: Computer-Security Incident Notification Requirements for Banking Organizations and Their Bank Service Providers.
  2. Updated to reflect the use of cloud computing services (cloud storage) and security risk management principles from the FFIEC Interagency Guidance.
