The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is requesting public comment on its Duties of Furnishers of Information to Consumer Reporting Agencies Rule. This notice of proposed rulemaking (“NPRM) clarifies the scope of the FTC’s rule to only motor vehicle dealers described in section 1029(a) of the Dodd-Frank Act.
