Regulation CC Funds Availability Proposed Rule Summary

This document summarizes the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (β€œCFPB”) and Federal Reserve Board (β€œFRB”) published Proposed Rule to update Funds Availability for inflation. The Proposed Rule will implement the Expedited Funds Availability Act (β€œEFTA”) and changes from the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act (S 2155) to increase the amounts in Subpart B of Regulation CC (Funds Availability). It also expands the EFTA to include new territories and makes technical changes to Regulation DD.
