Regulation CC Funds Availability Proposed Rule Summary

This document summarizes the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (“CFPB”) and Federal Reserve Board (“FRB”) published Proposed Rule to update Funds Availability for inflation. The Proposed Rule will implement the Expedited Funds Availability Act (“EFTA”) and changes from the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act (S 2155) to increase the amounts in Subpart B of Regulation CC (Funds Availability). It also expands the EFTA to include new territories and makes technical changes to Regulation DD.
