Trust Tool- Resolution by a Board of Directors Approving the Adoption and Operation of a Collective Investment Fund Plan

This tool can be used to demonstrate and document evidence of the Board of Directors’ approval of the Collective Investment Fund (CIF) Plan pursuant to Regulation 9 of the Office of the Comptroller’s of the Currency (OCC). The template can be customized or modified to meet the specific needs of the bank’s Trust/Wealth Management Department.
Rule: Office of the Comptroller’s of the Currency (OCC) 12 CFR 9.18(b) and 12 CFR 150.260; Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Trust Examination Manual (Appendix G: Collective Investment Fund Law, Regulations and Opinions). State laws and Safety and Soundness Standards may apply.
