We created this Skip-A-Payment Request Form as a template for Banks to use to accommodate customer requests for skipped payments in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. It may also be used in conjunction with our Skip-A-Payment Offer Letter, also in our Pandemic Toolkit. As always, the Bank should tailor it to fit its needs, and have all agreements reviewed by Bank counsel. Counsel should also ensure that the Bank’s state laws allow for skipped payments.
