Federal Reserve Board announces approval of application by First Busey Corporation

The Federal Reserve Board on Friday announced its approval of the application under
section 3 of the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956 by First Busey Corporation, Champaign, Illinois, to acquire The Banc Ed Corp., and thereby indirectly acquire Ed Corp's subsidiary bank, The Bank of Edwardsville, both of Edwardsville, Illinois.
