Summary
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (the Board) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (the FDIC, and collectively, the agencies) are issuing a statement to provide clarity on their risk-based supervision of certain services provided by core providers to community banking organizations. 1 The statement discusses certain factors the three agencies will consider in making supervisory and enforcement decisions related to these core providers.
