Mortgage Rates Continue to Trend Down

MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 30, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Freddie Mac (OTCQB: FMCC) today released the results of its Primary Mortgage Market SurveyĀ® (PMMSĀ®), showing the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage (FRM) averaged 6.17%.

ā€œMortgage rates decreased for the fourth consecutive week. The last few months have brought lower rates and homebuyers are increasingly entering the market,ā€ said Sam Khater, Freddie Mac’s Chief Economist.
