Upcoming Q4 Webinars
- October 6 – B2B: Appraisals
This webinar will cover the essential regulatory requirements related to appraisals. Join us as we evaluate appraisal regulations, HPML appraisal requirements, Regulation B appraisal obligations, and Regulation Z rules for appraisal independence. We’ll help you avoid compliance depreciation and keep your knowledge appreciating in value.
- October 22 – LIVE WEBINAR: Artificial Intelligence for Real Bankers
This live, interactive webinar will offer opportunities to both learn and share. We will look at some proposed and current AI use cases for banks then discuss potential costs, risks, and benefits of each. Attendees will be invited to share their thoughts, experiences, and concerns through the live chat feature in the webinar. Those registering for the webinar will be asked to name any use cases in which they have particular interest or would like to see discussed in the webinar.
- November 3 – B2B: Garnishment of Federal Benefits
This Back 2 Basics webinar will walk through the rules surrounding garnishments of accounts receiving federal benefits. The Garnishment Rule protects federal benefits from levies and imposes obligations on a financial institution that receives a garnishment order for a consumer’s account. This webinar will look at when accounts may be frozen, what funds are exempt, and how notice should be provided when a garnishment is received.
- November 19 – P2P or P2Problems? BSA/AML Concerns in Peer-to-Peer and Crypto Payments
Peer-to-peer (P2P) payments are an on-ramp that bad actors commonly use for illicit payments as well as fraud and other concerning activity. P2P rails may quickly link up with other cheap, accessible, and largely anonymous payment systems, particularly crypto. In this session, we will look at the various BSA/AML concerns and typologies that are emerging out of the increasing integration of these two systems. Join us for a discussion of how a robust BSA/AML program can address the BSA concerns arising from consumer crypto and P2P transactions
- December 1 – B2B: E-SIGNed, Sealed, Delivered! A Refresher on Electronic Signatures
E-SIGN is an essential tool in modern banking. Electronic signatures give banks more control over their documents, offer speed and convenience to consumers, and provide greater assurance the consumers have received and reviewed required documents. Join us to make sure that you are complying with all the requirements necessary to ensure that your electronically collected signatures are meeting all the requirements established by the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce (E-SIGN) Act. We will cover disclosure requirements, exemptions, recordkeeping, and more.
- December 17 – Review and Preview: A Look Back at 2026 and Forward to 2027
They say hindsight is 20/20, but in compliance, foresight is even better. In this year-end webinar, we’ll review the major developments that shaped 2026 and discuss the emerging risks, opportunities, and regulatory priorities that may dominate conversations in 2027. Whether the next big headline involves AI, digital assets, fraud, or something no one saw coming, we’ll help you separate the signal from the noise and prepare for the road ahead.
All webinars start at 12:30 PM Pacific / 1:30 PM Mountain / 2:30 PM Central / 3:30 PM Eastern.
