Reg D Change in Terms Notice
Updated 04/28/2020
These two change-in-terms sample templates can be used to implement the recent changes to Regulation D which revoke the six transfer limitations on savings account. The use of these templates is optional as there is no requirement to send a change in terms under Regulation D where these changes are beneficial to the accountholder. The first template is for those banks who wish to change their policy and revoke the limitation permanently and the second template is for those banks who wish to change their policy on a short-term basis (for example, three months or six months) to allow for possible further regulatory guidance.
