Description: This webinar will be focused on the requirements of the Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA).  It governs federally regulated financial institutions from making, increasing, extending or renewing a loan secured by improved real estate or real property. We will discuss the requirement to purchase flood insurance, when available, what exemptions apply, a breakdown of the NFIP coverage requirements, along with flood determinations and required notices and forms.  This webinar will also cover insurable value breakdown requirements, force placed insurance, and the recent private flood insurance changes.
