Customer due diligence and enhanced customer due diligence are covered including the initial risk rating of customers, high risk customers, and ongoing monitoring. Risk rating ties directly in with the next section, the risk assessment. The risk assessment section includes information on understanding the bank’s risk profile and using that understanding to shape the BSA Program. The next portion of the webinar covers various products and services and the risks presented by each as well as risk management and controls for each such as wires, ACH, remote deposit capture, and monetary instruments.
