Regulation B prohibits creditors from discriminating the creditworthiness of applicants with regard to their race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, or age. The regulation also provides requirements to notify applicants of actions taken on their application; to collect certain government monitoring information; and to provide applicants with copies of appraisals on dwelling secured loans.
